Mozzipel Insect Repellent - 50ml Spray (Natural, Tropical Coconut, Lavender, Junior)

Our patented technology that powers our Mozzipel™ range of mosquito repellent products has been independently tested in the USA as well as in South Africa by the SABS and found to be as effective as we claim and the most important fact is that it DOES NOT contain DEET (N, N - diethyl - meta - toluamide). DEET is found in many mosquito repellent products on the market and is a chemical compound not recommended for use on babies younger than 2 months old. DEET can act as an irritant and in rare cases can cause severe epidermal reactions. DEET has been found to have a slight toxicity to cold water fish such as the rainbow trout. DEET is also able to corrode plastic sunglasses, watch straps and discolour clothing. One must also refrain from applying DEET directly to the skin in its pure form or breathing it in.

As mentioned, our Mozzipel™ DOES NOT contain DEET and the active ingredient is NATURAL! Our Mozzipel™ active consists of a mixture of the three natural, volatile fatty acids that are found on the skin, extracted from nature and dissolved in a mineral oil or petroleum jelly base for easy and preferred application by the masses. Our active will not cause any harm to humans and animals and is not hazardous. It is safe for small children, applies easily and is classified as GRAS in the USA. (Generally Regarded As Safe). Furthermore, our active is equally effective as an adulticide against pyrethroid resistant and insecticide susceptible An. funestus.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved our active, a high - performance natural - based solution which we have formulated into end - use pesticide products to repel and even kill insects in some instances. Recognised as an effective, nontoxic and renewable alternative to conventional pesticides, our active’s unique composition interferes with the insect’s homing system (sensory disruptor) which in turn repels and kills mosquitoes, stable flies, horn flies, house flies, ticks, cattle lice, ants, roaches, bed bugs and fire ants. This active is the key part of our Mozzipel™ product range which offers products that are as equally effective as DEET, pyrethroids and organophosphates at reducing insects and is harmless to human beings and animals.

We have now skilfully blended our active into Petroleum Jelly as well as a Mineral Oil Option in spray and wipes form. We know that Petroleum jelly is a fat. It's a purified mixture of semi - solid hydrocarbons derived from petroleum. It's a staple in most medicine chests as a topical ointment and it's also used for everything from shining shoes to silencing a squeaky hinge. Petroleum jelly is an oil - based emollient (it repels water), which makes it a long - lasting lubricant to smooth and protect rough and dry skin. How? Emollients help to replace lipids by filling in gaps in between skin cells. The result? Soft, well - hydrated skin.
